At Birdie Hugs, we believe childhood is sacred, education is powerful, and every child deserves to grow in a space rooted in love, learning, and purpose.

Meet the Founder

Hi,I'm Birdie-founder,educator,and the heart behind Birdie Hugs. My journey in early childhood education began in 2016 and quickly became so much more than a career. After years of working in classrooms,supporting children with emotional and developmental needs while also creating intentional learning environments. I felt called to open a space that honored the whole child-mind,body and spirit. In 2022,Birdie Hugs was born from that vision:a warm spiritually-aligned preschool offering more than just academics-a place where children feel safe,celebrated, and free to be exactly who they are. 

What Makes Us Different

Birdie Hugs is not a play-based daycare-we are a preschool and Pre-K program led by experienced educators,not babysitters.Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support: Early Literacy,math,science,and school readiness-Daily art,journaling,and guided mindfulness-emotional regulation and confidence building-Holistic practices like chakra colors,crystal exploration,and moon phase awareness-Manners,independence,and social emotional growth. Children leave Birdie Hugs with more than knowledge-they leave with inner peace,self-love,and grounded sense of who they are. 

Our Philosophy 

We believe children are born with wisdom.Our job is to help them remember it. At Birdie Hugs, we guide with compassion,teach through connection,and create a rhythm that reflects the natural flow of the seasons and soul. We infuse every day with intention-from gratitude circles to moon circle Fridays-so children feel the magic of learning,the safety structure,and the warmth of belonging. 

A personal Note

This work is my purpose. It's what I was born to do. Every child who enters Birdie Hugs becomes part of something sacred-a community that holds them with love and prepares them for the world with confidence.Watching them grow is my greatest honor.Thank you for trusting me with your little one's early years.
